What's new in October 2026

Late October adds editing jobs with your photo editors, a photo store, automatic sales tax, new Sales and Visitors reports, a busier Home page, gallery folders and Report an Issue. Earlier in the month came a new Clients page with Inbound Leads, a new Projects page, invoice texts, teams, a new Payments page with refunds, smarter online booking, real calendar invites and Google Meet for visits, reusable templates, Google sign-in and more. Here is what changed and where to find it.

Work with your photo editors

Invite the editors you already work with and send them your shoots straight from a project's Media page, on the new Editing tab. Drop in the whole card, choose the edits from your editor's price list, mark the photos that need add-ons and add your instructions. Review the finished photos side by side with the originals, ask for changes, pay your editor by card or record a payment, and publish the approved photos to your client's gallery. Editors join free, set their own prices and terms, and get paid to their own Stripe account.

See Work with your photo editors, Send photos to your editor and Review, pay and publish edited photos. Editors: see Get started as an editor on RebookMedia.

Sell photos with the photo store

Sell digital photos from your galleries and your website. Create price sheets with a price per photo and for the whole gallery, choose what is for sale in each gallery (the whole gallery, some folders or photos you mark), and decide what your client and their guests can still download for free. Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay straight into your Stripe account, get their originals without a watermark, and become your clients. You see every sale on the new Orders page and Store dashboard.

See Set up your photo store, Store orders, receipts and payouts and, for your clients, Buy photos from a gallery or website.

Automatic sales tax

  1. A new Sales Tax tab in Settings: turn on Collect sales tax and add the states where you collect. RebookMedia sets each project's rate from the state's rules and the shoot address, so there are no rates to type.
  2. Mark a single project tax exempt, or add a client's exemption certificate to their profile.
  3. A Tax Reporting tab adds up the tax you collected by month, quarter or year and by state, with CSV and PDF downloads.
  4. When a project has a discount, tax is now worked out on the discounted price.

See Set up sales tax, Tax-exempt clients and certificates and Sales tax reporting.

Sales and Visitors reports

A new Sales Report with revenue after refunds, fees, a revenue chart, your top services and every payment, and a new Visitors report showing where visitors come from, your top pages, devices and places, and how many visitors became inquiries and orders. Open them from Report on the Revenue and Visitors cards on your Home page. See Sales and Visitors reports.

More on your Home page

  1. A Revenue card with your payments over the last 7 or 30 days, compared with the period before.
  2. Create a project right from the Projects card with New Project.
  3. A new one-minute tour of your Home page, which you can replay any time.

See Your Home dashboard explained.

Gallery folders and faster delivery

  1. Folders: split a gallery into folders such as Exterior and Interior. Your client sees one tab per folder, and you can hide a folder from them.
  2. Select many photos at once (drag a box, Shift-click or Ctrl/Cmd+A), and move or download the selection.
  3. Each photo shows its size in pixels, so you can check you uploaded the full-size files.
  4. Download all of your client's favorites as one ZIP while you keep working.
  5. On phones, gallery downloads save straight to the Photos app.
  6. New watermark styles that cover the whole photo and are much harder to remove.

See Deliver photos and media and Protect your photos with watermarks.

Report an issue

Click the warning sign at the top of any page to report a problem. Point at the part of the page with the problem, say what went wrong, and our team gets a snapshot of the page (with anything typed in form fields hidden). You get an email confirmation and updates. See Report an issue.

A new Clients page and Inbound Leads

  1. Clients: see every client's projects, next visit and what they have paid, with search, filters and tiles for who is owing. Open a client for their full profile, private notes and projects, email them with templates, or archive them.
  2. Inbound Leads: every website and chat lead in one place, with New, Contacted, Converted and Archived tabs. Reply, call or text, keep notes, and convert a lead to a client in one click.

See Manage your clients and Manage your leads.

A new Projects page

Tiles for open projects, visits this week, balance due and payments this month; tabs by status; search and filters for date, category and payment; and a cleaner list and gallery that work on phones. See Create and manage projects.

Text invoices to clients

Tick Also send by SMS when you send an invoice or a reminder to text your client the amount and pay link too, for clients who have agreed to texts. See Send invoices and get paid.

Clearer plan limits

When you reach a limit, a window shows what you have reached, the plan that gives you more room and its price, and lets you upgrade on the spot. Storage now counts only your project files, and your Home page shows exactly how much you have used. See Manage your plan and subscription.

Build and pay your team

  1. Invite team members by email and give each one a role, such as Photographer / Creator, Project Manager or Read Only. People without a RebookMedia account get a team login of their own.
  2. Pay rates for each team member and service, so you know what each job costs.
  3. Team jobs: assign a project or visit to a team member. They see the job in their Projects list, can upload media to it, and get the calendar invite.
  4. Earnings and payouts: pay becomes due when you mark the project Completed. Pay team members by recording a manual payment, or send the money straight to their Stripe account.

See Add and manage team members and Pay your team members.

Payments and refunds

  1. One Payments page with your totals, the invoices waiting for payment, and every transaction.
  2. Refunds in two steps, with a refund email to your client and the refund kept in step with Stripe. If your Stripe balance can't cover a refund, you see a plain explanation.
  3. The project's Invoices tab now shows refunds, and you can send your client a receipt.
  4. Invoice amounts in Stripe now always match the invoice.

See Send invoices and get paid.

Smarter online booking

  1. Your Google Calendar events and existing bookings now block those times on your booking page, so clients can't double-book you.
  2. Your booking rules (how far ahead clients must book, buffer and driving time) are respected, and time slots show their end times again.
  3. The deposit is charged before the booking is confirmed, cards that need extra bank checks (3D Secure) work, and the time is checked again at the last moment.
  4. The address a client enters on your profile is carried through to the booking page.

See Set up online booking and Book a professional on RebookMedia.

Visits, calendar invites and Google Meet

  1. Everyone on a visit now gets a real calendar invite that updates when you reschedule and is removed when you cancel.
  2. Online visits: choose Online when scheduling a visit, and RebookMedia creates a Google Meet link (when your Google Calendar is connected) or uses the Zoom, Teams or other link you paste.
  3. The Schedule Visit window has been redesigned, shows the professional's day so you can spot conflicts, and fits phone screens.
  4. Visits show a status badge on the project.

See Use your calendar and connect Google Calendar and Create and manage projects.

Templates for emails and contracts

  1. A new Templates tab in Settings to create and manage your contract and email templates, starting from ready-made starter templates.
  2. Default templates: pick the template that opens first when you send an email or contract.
  3. The email and contract windows now fit the screen, and the contract editor's toolbar is in a clearer order: Form Fields, Tokens, Templates.

See Use templates for emails and contracts.

Services and categories

  1. The Edit Service window has been redesigned: it saves automatically and groups settings into sections you can open and close. It also fits phone screens.
  2. The Categories page now has Active, Inactive and Archived views.

See Create and manage your services and Manage your categories.

Signing in and security

  1. Sign in with Google from the new sign-in window.
  2. Devices signed in to your account: see where you are signed in, sign out a single device, or sign out all other devices at once.
  3. Many behind-the-scenes security improvements to keep your account, your clients' details and your media safe.

See Your account settings and security.
