When clients search the RebookMedia directory, your profile is your first impression. In a few seconds they decide whether to look closer, message you or move on. This guide shows you how to make each part of your profile work for you.
In this guide: your public image, your headline, your bio, your portfolio, your category image, reviews, and getting found.
1. A public image people trust
- Use a friendly, well-lit photo of yourself, or a clean logo if you are a studio. People book people, so a face usually works better.
- Keep it simple: a plain background, your face centered (it is cropped to a square).
- Use the same image on your website and social media, so clients recognize you.
2. A headline that says what and where
Your category's short description is the headline on your search card. Make it say what you shoot and where, for example "New Jersey Real Estate Photography" or "Brooklyn Newborn and Family Photographer". Clients scan these quickly, and a clear one gets clicked.
3. A bio that sells
Your bio (300 to 1,000 characters for each category) should answer the questions a client is asking themselves:
- Who are you? A sentence about you and how long you have been shooting.
- What do you do best? Your specialty and style.
- Why choose you? Fast delivery, attention to detail, local knowledge, a great experience on the day.
- What happens next? Invite them to book or message you.
Write as if you are talking to one client. Use the Write my professional bio (Rebookgen AI) button for a first draft, then make it sound like you.
4. A portfolio that shows your best
- Show 10 to 20 of your strongest, most recent images for each category. Quality beats quantity.
- Put your very best image first; it is the one most people see.
- Show the kind of work you want more of. If you want luxury listings, show luxury listings.
- Mix wide shots and details, and keep your editing style consistent.
- Refresh it every few months.
5. A category image that stands out
Your category image is the large picture (or short video) on your search card. Pick one striking image that shows your style at a glance. A short video can catch the eye even more.
6. Reviews
Profiles with reviews get booked more. Ask every client for a review right after you deliver their photos, and aim for the Top Rated badge with an average of 4.0 or higher. See Get reviews from your clients.
7. Get found
- Complete all four tiles on your Business Listing card so each category is Listed.
- Keep at least one active service in each category, with clear names and prices.
- Add every area you serve as a service area.
- Turn on online booking, so clients can book you straight from your profile.
