Delivery is the moment your client sees the result of your work, and it's what they remember when they recommend you. A beautiful, easy gallery delivered on time turns a good job into a great experience. This guide shows how to get the most from RebookMedia galleries.
In this guide: curate, set up the gallery, protect your work, deliver, and follow up.
1. Curate before you upload
- Deliver your best images, not every frame. Remove near-duplicates and test shots.
- Edit consistently, so the gallery looks like one story.
- Put the strongest images first; the first few set the tone.
- For real estate, follow a walkthrough order: exterior, entry, living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor spaces.
2. Set up the gallery
- Cover photo: choose your best image. It's the first thing your client sees full screen.
- Title and subtitle: make them personal, for example "The Smith Family" and "Fall session in the park", or the property address.
- Favorites: turn them on so clients can pick images for prints, albums or their listing.
- Downloads and sharing: turn them on for real estate and most portrait work, so clients can use and share their photos.
- Sections: put floor plans and documents in their own sections for real estate jobs.
See Deliver photos and media to clients.
3. Protect your work when you need to
- Watermark: add your watermark to proofs or to photos that aren't paid for yet, and remove it when the client pays.
- Password: use a password for private galleries, such as family or boudoir sessions, and send it to your client separately.
Choose your watermark style once in Settings > Business, and turn it on per gallery (see Protect your photos with watermarks).
4. Deliver
- Preview the gallery as your client will see it.
- Mark the project Completed. Your client gets a "Photos are ready" email with a View Photos button.
- If the gallery has a password, send it in a message.
- Send the invoice for any balance at the same time.
Tip: tell clients to download their photos soon, and that their photo numbers (such as 007) help when they ask about a particular image.
5. Follow up
- Check which photos your client favorited; it tells you what they love and is great for print or album offers.
- Ask for a review a day or two after delivery (see Get reviews from your clients).
- Add a standout image to your portfolio.
Make it repeatable
Save your delivery email as a template and keep a standard gallery setup for each kind of job. Consistent, on-time delivery is one of the biggest reasons clients come back and recommend you.
